Misconception SATs papers (2016 Sample) with intentional errors to correct

(2)
2016 Sample SATs papers completed with common errors and misconceptions for pupils to mark and explain. Pupils often love playing the teacher, marking the work of someone else, and can often spot errors in another person’s work before they spot it in their own. You can find completed misconception papers from other years here: 2019 2018 2017 2016 2016 (Sample) @adaubs91) and I completed these papers so that most of the answers will be incorrect (based on common misconceptions) or have silly errors which pupils often make. The idea is that pupils mark each question and explain the errors that have been made. We hope these are useful for you and your pupils! I wrote a blog about why I think this can be effective process for pupils to engage with on my blog: educatingholmes. The completed papers included in this file are: Maths Paper 1: Arithmetic Maths Paper 2: Reasoning 1 Maths Paper 3: Reasoning 2 Grammar and Punctuation Reading
